A list of things to remember for the comfort of your child.
Meal Suggestions for Sick Children
- Blanket & Pillow
- Extra Clothes
- Food (Breakfast, Lunch, 2 snacks. See our meal suggestions below.)
- Diapers (if needed)
- Any Medications your child is taking including Ibuprofen, Antibiotics, etc.
Diarrhea and Vomiting
Breakfast, Snacks and Lunch
- Oral Hydration Solution (Pedialyte) – Bring enough for your child to receive ½ to 1 cup
every hour, or until the diarrhea stops
- Avoid milk, apple juice, and foods high in salt or sugar
